Abstract:
Provided are an image processing method and program which make direct use of an image displayed by imaging software such as a browser used by a computer or the like to output information of interest from image data within an arbitrarily defined frame.
In this method of processing images within a display screen, one or a plurality of arbitrarily defined set areas 34 are set on a display screen 30, image data within the set areas 34 are sequentially transferred to memory, the image data in the memory are subjected to data processing in order to carry out determinations of interest, and the determination results are output to the outside. The determination results can be output as software-related information, or as an electrical signal to a serial port or a parallel port, or can be output to a network in the form of an email, information data, image data or the like. Further, area-specific names can be appended to the one or the plurality of areas 34 on the display screen 30, and each of the plurality of set areas 34 can be subjected to different image data processing.
