Abstract:
A disposer device including a hammer mill type crushing unit which is detachable.
The crushing unit (50) is stored in a hopper (20). The crushing unit (50) of hammer
mill type comprises a turntable (52), a swingable hammer (54) installed on the
upper surface of the turntable, and a crushing blade (58) secured to the hopper.
A pivotally supporting means (60) is provided at the end of a drive shaft (42).
When a lock ring (66) is advanced and retreated, engagement balls (63) are engaged
with and disengaged from an annular groove (62). By removing the pivoting means
(60) from the drive shaft, the turn table (52) can be pulled out from the hopper
(20). Consequently, the crushing unit (50) and the hopper (20) can be easily cleaned.
