Abstract:
Provided are a distance information acquiring device and a distance information acquiring method with which it is possible to suppress the effects of multiple reflections of measuring light in order to acquire accurate distance information. A distance information acquiring device (10) is provided with: a light source for measurement (22) which emits measuring light onto an object to be measured; a distance image sensor (14) in which a plurality of light receiving elements are arranged two-dimensionally; an ejecting unit (26) which ejects a reflection suppressing agent onto the object to be measured; an imaging lens (12) which causes measuring light that has been reflected from the surface of the object to be measured, to which the reflection suppressing agent ejected from the ejecting unit has become attached, to form an image on the distance image sensor; and a distance information acquiring unit (21) which, on the basis of output signals from each of the light receiving elements in the distance image sensor, acquires first distance information which is distance information relating to the surface of the object to be measured and which corresponds to the time of flight of the measuring light that has been reflected by the reflection suppressing agent on the surface of the object to be measured.
