A distributed unit (2) of a base station, in response to receiving from a central unit (1) of the base station a signaling message requesting broadcast of specific system information, changes an active downlink (DL) bandwidth part (BWP) of a plurality of wireless terminals from a first DL BWP in which a search space (SS) for receiving the specific system information is not set, to a second DL BWP in which the SS for receiving the specific system information is set. The distributed unit (2) also broadcasts the specific system information on the second DL BWP.
