Abstract:
A biparting type door apparatus of an elevator capable of securely preventing collision noise from generating in closing a door and damage from occurring on the door by a simple structure. A plurality of damping materials are installed on the inside of one of two door panels having door stop faces opposed to each other so that parts of the damping materials can be projected outward from the door stop faces through a through-hole formed in the door stop face of the one door panel. The damping materials are fixed to the one door panel with fixing means. The number of the damping materials installed is such that can prevent the collision noise generated in opening and closing the door.
