Abstract:

An error correction encoding apparatus comprises a frame producing part for buffering input information sequence data onto each of frame buffers corresponding to a unit in encoding; a first interleaving part for rearranging the information sequence data within two or more frame buffers; a first encoding part for encoding, for each frame buffer, the information sequence data as rearranged by the first interleaving part, and for buffering produced error correction codes onto the frame buffer; a first deinterleaving part for rearranging, in the opposite procedure to the first interleaving part, the codeword sequence data, as encoded by the first encoding part, on the frame buffers; and a multiplexing part for outputting, as information to be transmitted, the codeword sequence data as rearranged by the first deinterleaving part.
