A double-arm type sorting electromagnet, comprising a housing (1), wherein the housing (1) is mounted with a second driving assembly, a reversing plate (4) and a linkage shaft (5; the second driving assembly controls the rotation of the linkage shaft (5) via the reversing plate (4); the linkage shaft (5) is mounted with a shift rod (2); two sides of the reversing plate (4) are both mounted with an armed lever (3); one end of the armed lever (3) is hinged to a bracket (9) in the housing (1), and the other end of the armed lever (3) is connected to the reversing plate (4); and the armed lever (3) is driven by a first driving assembly to move up and down with one end thereof as a support point, so as to control the ascent and descent of the reversing plate (4), thereby realizing the switching cooperation between two output ends of the reversing plate (4) and two receiving ends of the linkage shaft (5). When the improved reversing plate (4) moves, the reversing plate is subjected to stress by the armed lever on the two sides, the stresses on the reversing plate are relatively equalized, and stability in the moving process is effectively guaranteed.
