Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a drill with an oil hole, which can selectively cool, in addition to a region from a thinning portion to a cutting edge, an outer peripheral corner which is brought into contact with a work piece during cutting. [Solution] A drill with an oil hole is provided with: two or more cutting edges; a flow passage (P) through which a cooling medium flows; and the oil hole that is an opening of the flow passage, wherein in a cross-section of the drill with the oil hole in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction, the cross-sectional shape (S) of the flow passage includes at least first to third linear sections (L1-L3), the linear sections are connected via curved sections, the first linear section (L1) is located on the front side, in the rotational direction (RD), of the drill with the oil hole, the second linear section (L2) is located on the rear side, in the rotational direction (RD), of the drill with the oil hole, and the third linear section (L3) is located on the center axis (O) side of the drill.
