Abstract:

A drip sensor, comprising a housing (1) and a back cover (4). A sensor probe (2) is installed inside the housing (1), and the sensor probe (2) has a plurality of independent detection ends; clamping slots (6) matching the number of detection ends are also provided on the surface of the housing (1); the inner wall of each clamping slot (6) is symmetrically provided with detection holes (5); each independent detection end on the sensor probe (2) is composed of an infrared transmitting end and an infrared receiving end; end faces of the infrared transmitting end and the infrared receiving end are all located inside the detection holes (5); and the sensor probe (2) is provided with two sets of independent detection ends. The drip sensor may detect the flow rate, total amount and speed of an infusion solution, so as to achieve the purpose of real-time monitoring and prevent harm to patients due to an unstable infusion rate or excessive infusion. Moreover, due to the design of dual clamping slots (6), two different infusion tubes may be simultaneously monitored, which increases the working efficiency.
