Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a drive control device for a drive system including a vertical carrier machine that can effectively utilize regenerated power produced by a vertical carrier machine having a high regenerative operating rate. The invention comprises: a drive control device (A) for a regeneration-based electric motor (M1); a drive control device (B) for a power-based electric motor (M2); and a regenerated power storage capacitor (12) connected, via a third inrush current suppression circuit (11) that connects a third resistance (R3) and a switch (SW3) in series, between a positive terminal (P11) and a negative terminal (N1) of the DC output line of a converter (1) in a first inverter (INV1) of the drive control device (A). The capacitor (12) has a capacitance and a DC internal resistance such that during a series of operations of the regeneration-based electric motor (M1), within the operation time period when the maximum regeneration energy is produced, the charging current flowing during storage of the regenerative energy produced by the regeneration-based electric motor (M1) yields a current value that can produce the braking torque needed to control the speed of the regeneration-based electric motor (M1).
