Abstract:
Disclosed is a drive device for a vehicle comprising a rotary electric machine, a transmission mechanism, and an inverter device, the rotary electric machine and a pair of output members have a two-shaft structure, the transmission mechanism is provided with an output gear that is drivingly connected to at least one of the pair of output members coaxially with the pair of output members, the inverter device is disposed so as to overlap with a first output member, which is one of the pair of output members, as viewed in a direction along the vertical direction, and in a case, a first cooling channel through which a cooling water for cooling the rotary electric machine passes and a second cooling channel through which a cooling water for cooling the inverter device passes are formed in such a form that the first cooling channel and the second cooling channel communicate with each other.
