Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a drive system for a dump truck, which is capable of suppressing an increase in the size of a converter that controls a two-winding induction generator. Accordingly, this drive system for a dump truck comprises a DC-DC converter that is connected to a main-side DC bus and an auxiliary-side DC bus. The DC-DC converter is controlled by a controller so that power is supplied from the main-side DC bus through the DC-DC converter to the auxiliary-side DC bus.
