Abstract:
A driver state determination device according to the present invention comprises: a fishtail detection unit which detects a degree of fishtails per a reference time (C) of a vehicle; an awareness decline determination unit which determines whether awareness of a driver of a vehicle has declined; and a control unit which controls the operation of the awareness decline determination unit such that the greater the degree of fishtailing which is detected by the fishtail detection unit, the less likely a determination that awareness has declined will be made.
