Abstract:
Provided is a driving assistance device or a driving assistance system with which it is possible to increase conditions in which changes in the power or power amount of a host vehicle can be predicted, and upon prediction of the power or power amount of the host vehicle, the charging voltage of a charging device can be controlled. A control unit (10) of a driving assistance device (1) provided to a host vehicle (110) detects, as a target vehicle, another vehicle (120) positioned in a prescribed positional relationship with the host vehicle (110) in the advancing route of the host vehicle (110), acquires power relationship information, which is information pertaining to the amount of power consumed by the detected target vehicle, and on the basis of the acquired power relationship information, controls the charging voltage of a charging device (40) to perform notification and additional charging of an electricity storage unit (50).
