Abstract:
Provided is a driving assistance device comprising a vehicle data acquisition unit (12) which acquires data of a travel situation, travel speed, vehicle-to-vehicle distance, acceleration control, braking control, and steering control of vehicles in the vicinity which have a communication function, a detection unit (12) which detects vehicles in the vicinity which do not have a communication function, a travel situation detection unit (12) which detects the travel situation of the vehicles in the vicinity which do not have a communication function, and a travel prediction unit (12) which, on the basis of the travel situation data which has been acquired by the vehicle data acquisition unit (12) and the travel situation data which has been obtained by the travel situation detection unit, predicts the travel state of the vehicles in the vicinity, wherein the travel prediction unit (12) comprises a notification unit (17) which notifies a user of the result of the prediction.
