Abstract:
This driving assistance device generates a bird's-eye view image of the surroundings of a vehicle from the peripheral images acquired from a plurality of peripheral monitoring cameras, generates a cropped bird's-eye view image by cropping an image corresponding to a cropping range including a blind spot range from the generated bird's-eye view image, generates a rear lateral side conversion image by converting a rear lateral side image acquired from a rear lateral side monitoring camera into a left-right-reversed image, generates a composite image in which the generated cropped bird's-eye view image and the generated rear lateral side conversion image are included, and causes the display device to display the generated composite image.
