Abstract:
A driving assistance device, according to the present invention, that has a processor and a memory and assists with driving a vehicle, the driving assistance device comprising: an external environment information acquisition unit for acquiring external environment information of the vehicle; an obstacle detection unit for detecting an obstacle in front of the vehicle from the external environment information; a lane detection unit for detecting a lane boundary line and a road edge from the external environment information; an alarm unit for performing an alarm or implementing steering assist if deviation from the lane boundary line or road edge has been detected; and a state management unit for inhibiting the alarm or steering assist if the obstacle detection unit has detected the obstacle.
