Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a small four-wheel vehicle that has a simple, light-weight, and impact-resistant structure, and that reduces damage and saves the life of the driver when an accident occurs. [Solution] The present invention pertains to a small, single-occupant, four-wheel vehicle which is provided with pairs of front and rear wheels provided on the left and right and supported by a vehicle body, and with a driver's seat for steering the front wheels provided in the vehicle body. This vehicle has a structure in which an elliptical pipe having a flat elliptical shape extends along an inner surface of the vehicle body and horizontally surrounds the driver's seat, or has a structure in which a first elliptical pipe having a flat elliptical shape extends along an inner surface of the vehicle body, and horizontally surrounds the driver's seat and a structure in which a second elliptical pipe having a flat elliptical shape having an external shape greater than the backrest of the driver's seat is disposed on the back side of the backrest.
