Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a driving device capable of appropriately performing initialization determination processing without erroneous determination. [Solution] A driving device (101) comprises a rotationally driving means (212) for rotationally driving a movable part (102) of an imaging device, a state detection means (213) for detecting the state of the imaging device, and a control means (210) for determining whether or not to perform an initialization operation by the rotationally driving means. The control means determines whether or not to perform the initialization operation on the basis of a change in the state of the imaging device while a system is off and/or a change in the state thereof at the end of the system and at the startup of the system, the changes being acquired from an output signal of the state detection means.
