Abstract:
A driving method for a display device and a display device. The method comprises: dividing an image frame to be displayed into m display image frames; in the same display image frame, the positive-negative sign of the difference between the driving voltage of at least one of every n pixel units on a display panel and a corresponding preset gray scale voltage being different from the positive-negative sign of the difference between the driving voltages of the other pixel units and the corresponding preset gray scale voltage; among m driving voltages of any pixel unit in the m display image frames, the positive-negative sign of the difference between at least one driving voltage and the preset gray scale voltage of the pixel unit is different from the positive-negative sign of the difference between the other driving voltages and the preset gray scale voltage of the pixel unit, and the mean of the brightness of the pixel unit in the m display image frames is equal to a preset brightness; the products of the backlight brightness of all of the m display image frames and the sum of the driving voltages of all the pixel units of the display panel are equal.
