Abstract:
This driving mode switching notification system 10, which notifies a driver of switching from an automatic driving mode to a manual driving mode, comprises: a monitoring device 12 that monitors the driver; a warning sound emitting device 18 that emits a warning sound for notifying the driver of the switching from the automatic driving mode to the manual driving mode; a warning light emitting device 20 that emits warning light for notifying the driver of the switching from the automatic driving mode to the manual driving mode; and a control device 14 that determines the state of the driver on the basis of the information from the monitoring device 12, and controls, on the basis of the determined state of the driver, a warning sound emission timing of the warning sound emitting device 18 and a warning light emission timing of the warning light emitting device 20.
