Abstract:
This drug packaging device, for packaging drugs on the basis of prescription data, is provided with a supply unit for supplying solid drugs, an inspection unit for inspecting solid drugs supplied from the supply unit, and a packaging unit for packaging solid drugs inspected by the inspection unit. The inspection unit is provided with at least one storage container which has a movable bottom portion and which temporarily stores solid drugs supplied from the supply unit, an imaging unit which images solid drugs present in the storage container, a vibration mechanism which, prior to imaging by the imaging unit, vibrates the bottom portion of the storage container in a vibration direction which is the same as the movement direction of said base portion, and a determination unit which, on the basis of an image obtained by the imaging unit, determines whether or not the solid drugs in the storage container match the prescription data.
