Abstract:
This drum-type washing machine includes: a drum that is disposed such that a central axis of rotation extends horizontally or that is disposed tilted such that the front side is higher than the rear side; a motor that rotationally drives the drum; a water tank that contains the drum; a main body that cushioningly supports the water tank; and an opening that is formed on the main body and through which laundry is loaded into and unloaded from the drum. The main body is formed such that width L is 610 mm or less and height L1 is 1100 mm or less, and a diameter D2 of the opening is 400 mm or more.
