Abstract:
A drum washing machine (1). The drum washing machine (1) comprises: an enclosure (100); lifting springs (300); a tub (200), where the tub (200) is arranged within the enclosure (100) via the lifting springs (300); a photoelectric sensor unit (400), where the photoelectric sensing unit (400) is arranged within the enclosure (100) for detecting the amount of upward/downward displacement and/or displacement of the tub (200); and, a controller, where the controller is connected to the photoelectric sensor (400) and determines the weight and/or displacement of the tub (200) on the basis of a value of the upward/downward displacement as detected by the photoelectric sensor (400).
