Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of configuring from a dust cover body and a plate member and enabling to keep a seal width small with respect to an axial part of a ball stud and eliminate the need of processing to a knuckle while making it possible to save labor for phase matching with a knuckle groove when positioning the plate member during installation. This problem can be solved by a dust cover 1 provided with a dust cover body 2 formed of an elastic rubber material and an annular plate member 3, wherein: the dust cover body 2 is provided with a reinforcing ring 23 on a stud installation part 21, an annular step part 25 being formed at an inner peripheral side of the reinforcing ring 23; the plate member 3 comprises a plate body 31 and an annular seal part 32 formed of an elastic rubber material accommodated in the annular step part 25; and the plate body 31 has a plurality of notch parts 311 formed on the outer periphery thereof, thereby forming an outer peripheral petal part 312 between each of the adjusting notch parts 311, the peripheral petal part 312 being configured to be capable of being bent so as to engage with a knuckle groove 151.
