Title:
DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR-CELL ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/148598
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is a dye-sensitized solar-cell element provided with the following on top of an electrode substrate: a semiconductor electrode that has a metal-oxide-semiconductor porous film that supports a dye; and a counter electrode disposed so as to face the semiconductor electrode. This dye-sensitized solar-cell element, which also has an electrolyte layer between the semiconductor electrode and the counter electrode, is characterized in that the counter electrode contains a nano-carbon material and the electrolyte layer contains a polyether compound that has a specific onium-ion-structure repeating unit. The present invention makes it possible to provide a dye-sensitized solar-cell element that exhibits an even higher photoelectric conversion efficiency than conventional dye-sensitized solar-cell elements.
