Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an earpiece that, in a space formed by an outermost sound barrier, an external auditory meatus and an eardrum, absorbs and attenuates the reflected sounds of sounds emitted from an earphone speaker to the interior of the external auditory meatus and further insulates externally intruding sounds as much as possible. [Solution] An earpiece (1) comprises a cylindrical sound guide opening part (11) for guiding sounds outputted from an earphone speaker and further comprises first, second and third sound barriers (21, 22, 23) formed around the sound guide opening part. The earpiece (1) still further comprises predetermined sound absorption paths (31, 32) and the like in those surfaces of the second and third sound barriers which are opposed to the eardrum.
