Abstract:

The in-vehicle voltage-transforming device comprises: a tank, whereof the interior is filled with an insulating oil, for housing an iron core, three or more winding wires and a plurality of insulating plates; a plurality of spacers sandwiched between winding wires and insulating plates that face each other, and forming flow paths for the insulating oil; a pump for causing the insulating oil to flow; and a switching circuit. In some spacers, the flow resistance against the insulating oil flowing in one direction is smaller than the flow resistance against the insulating oil flowing in another direction which is opposite to said one direction. In the other spacers, the flow resistance against the insulating oil flowing in said other direction is smaller than the flow resistance against the insulating oil flowing in said one direction. When a portion of the winding wires is integrated into the electric circuit by the switching circuit, the pump causes the insulating oil to flow in said one direction, and when another portion of the winding wires is integrated into the electric circuit by the switching circuit, the pump causes the insulating oil to flow in said other direction.
