Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of devices for monitoring the durability of concrete members, and relates to an ECT sensor, system and process for monitoring water transmission inside of a concrete member. A circular design is adopted to optimize the structures of electrode plates, clamps and water storage tanks, thereby abandoning the traditional structural design of a sensor that is suitable for pipeline two-phase flow measurement. Vertical placement and a non-closed design are adopted. Copper foil electrode plates are stuck to an outer wall of a PVC insulating pipe, and the size and quantity of the electrode plates simplify the hardware structure. A metal outer shielding cover is used for sealing. A water storage pipe and a water storage pool facilitate the study of a water transmission process inside of a concrete test piece when water is injected at different angles. The described sensor has high sensitivity, is low-cost, is radiation-free, is simple and portable, and may achieve non-destructive monitoring. Imaging results may be compared with captured test piece photos, which compensates for the deficiency of lacking a verification method for traditional sensor imaging results, and provides a scientific basis for understanding the pattern of water transmission in concrete and for the study of concrete durability.
