Abstract:
A sliding bearing having a polyimide sliding layer, comprising a substrate (1), an intermediate layer optionally disposed on the substrate (1), and a polyimide sliding layer (2) disposed on the substrate (1). The polyimide sliding layer (2) comprises: a polyimide matrix resin; a main lubricant dispersed in the polyimide matrix resin, the main lubricant being an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene polymer; and a filler optionally dispersed within the polyimide matrix resin. The lubricant contained in the sliding bearing with the polyimide sliding layer is light in weight and is highly tough, the bonding strength of the sliding layer is effectively improved, and the sliding bearing may thus show excellent wear resistance.
