Abstract:
An edge color cast-improving display device and a television, comprising a display substrate. Multiple pixel subarrays (10) are provided on the display substrate. The pixel subarrays (10) comprise red, green, and blue pixels. Identically colored pixels are not provided adjacent to each other in a same transverse row between the pixel subarrays (10) and are not provided adjacent in a same vertical column. With the identically colored pixels being provided nonadjacent to each other in a same transverse row or in a same vertical column between the pixel subarrays (10) comprising three primary colors on the display substrate, a row or column of a single color is prevented from appearing at the edges of the display substrate, thus effectively improving on the problem of color cast.
