Abstract:
An edged tool with a protection cover in which the protection cover for protecting
a blade body can be handled easily with one hand without requiring a separate member
for locking the protection cover to a handle body, and the blade body can be held
in exposed state and covered state. A knife for operation as an edged tool with
a protection cover is equipped with a grip portion formed to hold the handle body
with one hand, and a supporting portion coupled with the grip portion integrally
and supporting the protection cover slidably on the outer circumference. A
protrusion is formed on the outer circumference of the supporting portion. The
protection cover is equipped with a pair of locking portions engaging with the
protrusion elastically when the protection cover is arranged selectively at
the covered position or the exposed position.
