Abstract:
Provided is an EGR device in which an EGR gas passage and a cooling water passage for cooling EGR gas can be configured using a reduced number of parts.
This EGR device is configured from: a cylindrical (straight tube-shaped) housing (2) which forms an EGR gas passage (1); a cooling water channel (3) which is formed integrally with the housing (2); and an EGR valve (4) which is provided between the ends of the EGR gas passage (1). The EGR gas passage (1) and the cooling water channel (3) are formed integrally by the housing (2) consisting of an alloy having aluminum as the main component.
