Abstract:
An ejector, provided with a nozzle (110) for discharging a fluid, the nozzle having in the interior thereof a fluid channel (111) having a circular cross-section. The fluid channel (111) has: a throat (113) for depressurizing the in-flowing fluid, the throat having the smallest cross-sectional area; a divergent part (114), the cross-sectional area of which expands going downstream, with respect to the direction of fluid flow, from the throat (113); and a discharge port (114a) for discharging the fluid in the divergent part (114), the discharge port (114a) being provided at the downstream-side tip of the divergent part (114). The channel wall surface (114b) of the divergent part (114) has a recess (115) that is indented outward from the inner side with respect to the radial direction of the channel wall surface (114b); the recess (115) is located near the discharge port (114a); and the recess (115) is provided as a ring shape so as to surround the fluid channel (111) and extend along the circumferential direction of the channel wall surface (114b). It is thereby possible to reduce noise caused by the expansion wave of the discharged fluid.
