Abstract:
The present invention provides an elastic wave device capable of improving ESD tolerance while suppressing inhibition of a piston mode. This electric wave device (1) comprises an IDT electrode (3) connected to a first terminal (11) and a second terminal (12), and a reflector (8) connected to the second terminal (12). When first-end electrode fingers among a group of electrode fingers of the IDT electrode (3) are positioned at one end along a second direction (D2), and second-end electrode fingers are positioned at the other end along the second direction (D2), the first-end electrode fingers have a high-width part at least at the distal-end part. The first-end electrode fingers are positioned between the reflector (8) and the second-end electrode fingers in the second direction (D2). An inside bus bar part of a bus bar among a first bus bar and a second bus bar that is not connected to the first-end electrode fingers is positioned further to the inside than is the high-width part of the first-end electrode fingers in the second direction (D2) so as not to overlap the high-width part of the first-end electrode fingers in a first direction (D1).
