Title:
ELECTRIC ACTUATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/162369
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric actuator that has fewer parts, lower costs and improved reliability due to the simplification of the rotation prevention mechanism. [Solution] A ball screw mechanism (8) is formed from a nut (16) that is connected to a speed reduction mechanism (6) and supported by a rolling bearing (18), which is mounted to a housing (2), in a manner such that the nut (16) is capable of rotating but is incapable of moving in the axial direction, and a screw shaft (15) that is inserted into the nut (16) with a plurality of balls therebetween and is coaxially integrated with a drive shaft (7). A cylindrical sac hole that houses the drive shaft (7) is formed in the housing (2a). A sensor cover (13) is detachably fixed to this sac hole; a guide member (14) having a recessed groove (14a) that has a substantially U-shaped cross section and extending along the axial direction towards the drive shaft (7) is mounted to the inner wall of this side cover (13); and the screw shaft (15) is supported in a manner so as to be capable of moving in the axial direction but incapable of rotation relative to the housing (2a) when a rotation prevention pin (9) embedded in the external diameter of the screw shaft (15) engages with the guide member (14).
