Abstract:
Provided are: an electric bicycle motive force transmission unit that that makes it possible to freely set the precision with which the rotational state of an input shaft is detected by freely setting the rotational speed of a rotary body; and an electric bicycle. According to the present invention, a transmission member (41) is arranged at the outer circumference of an input shaft (35), is joined to the input shaft (35), and rotates with the input shaft (35). An output body (31) outputs rotational force from the transmission member (41). A one-way clutch (46) is arranged between the transmission member (41) and the output body (31) and allows transmission of rotational force from the transmission member (41) to the output body (31) only when the transmission member (41) rotates in one direction relative to the output body (31). A rotary part is joined to the transmission member (41) or the input shaft (35) and rotates with the input shaft (35). A rotary body (632) rotates in conjunction with the rotary part. A detection part (631) detects the rotational state of the rotary body (632). The rotational axis of the rotary body (632) is in a different location than the rotational axis of the input shaft (35) in a direction that is orthogonal to the axial direction of the input shaft (35).
