Abstract:
An electric circuit 100 includes: a power line 13 for supplying electric power from a power source 11 to a load 12; and a monitor line 14 which is electrically independent of the power line 13, for detecting the temperature of a heat source. Breakers 1, each provided with a fixed contact, a movable piece which includes a movable contact and which presses the movable contact into contact with the fixed contact, and a heat-responsive element which deforms in response to a change in temperature, thereby causing the movable piece to operate in such a way that the movable contact separates from the fixed contact, are connected in series in the monitor line 14.
