Abstract:
An image record that comprises a substrate and an image that is a cured product of an ink that contains flaky metal particles and a polymer compound. The flaky metal particles include indium, have an average circle-equivalent diameter of 50–1000 nm, and have an average aspect ratio of 5–100, the average aspect ratio being the ratio of the average circle-equivalent diameter to average thickness. In a cross-section of the image, the average angle formed between the longitudinal direction of the flaky metal particles and the surface of the substrate is no more than 30° in the region that is within 100 nm of the surface of the image, and the average angle formed between the longitudinal direction of the flaky metal particles and the surface of the substrate is greater than 30° in the region that is more than 100 nm from the surface of the image.
