Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electric component socket wherein a contact pin is not susceptible to breakage and foreign material adhesion, even if the electronic component socket is pressed by a pressing member in a state wherein an electric component is not housed therein. [Solution] This electric component socket is provided with: a movable plate that is supported such that the movable plate can vertically move; a floating plate, which is provided above the movable plate, and which houses a first electric component; and a movable spacer protruding upward from the upper surface of the movable plate. The movable plate is provided with: a first through hole through which a contact member of a contact pin penetrates; and a regulating section for regulating an upward shift of the contact member. The floating plate is provided with: a second through hole through which the contact member of the contact pin penetrates; and a third through hole into which the movable spacer is inserted. The movable plate descends when the movable spacer descends, and consequently, the regulating section of the movable plate makes the contact member of the contact pin descend.
