Abstract:
Provided are an electric drive device and an electric power steering device that enhance the reliability of a circuit board while suppressing the area of power supply wiring in the circuit board. The electric drive device includes a motor and an electronic control device that controls the rotation of the motor. The electronic control device includes a first circuit board on which a transistor that outputs a current exciting a motor coil is mounted, a second circuit board having a control circuit that controls a current supplied to the transistor, a power supply wiring module in which a choke coil and a capacitor for noise removal and a wiring that supplies power to the first circuit board and/or the second circuit board are molded with a resin, and a heat sink. The heat sink is sandwiched between the power supply wiring module and the second circuit board.
