Abstract:
Provided are an electric drive device and an electric power steering device in which reduction in size in the axial direction is achieved and in which stress applied to a circuit board in accordance with electrical connection between a motor and the circuit board is suppressed even when a terminal block is mounted. This electric drive device comprises a motor and an electronic control device for controlling the rotation of the motor. The electronic control device includes: a first circuit board; a first heat sink; a second heat sink provided such that the first circuit board is sandwiched between the second heat sink and the first heat sink; and a terminal block which is fixed to a side surface of the second heat sink and which electrically connects motor coil wiring and the first circuit board to each other.
