Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide an electric field measuring device in which a power supply line led into an area where a measurement is performed is eliminated and the accuracy and reliability of an electric field measurement performed in a facility such as an anechoic chamber or the like are improved. In the electric field measuring device, a DC bias circuit for applying a DC bias voltage to an optical intensity modulator is disposed within the area and a DC bias control unit for controlling the DC bias voltage is disposed outside the area. The electric field measuring device is characterized in that: an electrical signal output from the DC bias control unit and involved in the DC bias voltage is converted to a light signal by an electrical-optical converter (E/O) and led into the area by an optical fiber; the light signal is converted to an electrical signal by an optical-electrical converter (O/E) disposed within the area; and the electrical signal is input to the DC bias circuit.
