Abstract:
Disclosed is an electric folding device for an exterior rear-view mirror of a vehicle, the device comprising a centralized connector, wherein the centralized connector is provided with a mounting portion for a driving gear to slide in the circumferential direction; the upper portion of the mounting portion is integrally provided with a limiting base; a spring abuts against the upper end of the limiting base; the driving gear abuts between the limiting base and a base; and in an initial state, a reserved gap is provided between the driving gear and the limiting base and between the driving gear and the base. Under the drive of an electric driving unit, a base cam component and a bottom base cam component gradually slide relative to each other, and during the process, the reserved gap is gradually eliminated as the base is lifted upwards, until the base cam component runs on a bottom base cam. The present invention provides the electric folding device for an exterior rear-view mirror of a vehicle, which can achieve a smooth lifting function, has low requirements for the bearing capacity of gear, is suitable for lightweight development, and has low costs.
