Abstract:
In this electric leakage detection device of a midpoint grounding method, a current for detection that flows through a resistor is reduced and consumption power is suppressed, while simultaneously reducing current detection sensitivity. An electric leakage detection device that is connected between a pair of electric transmission lines, said electric leakage detection device having: a first resistor circuit, in which a first linear resistor element and a first constant voltage element are serially connected, said first constant voltage element becoming low-resistance in response to the application of a voltage that surpasses a prescribed voltage and maintaining a constant voltage between both ends; and a second resistor circuit, in which a second linear resistor element and a second constant voltage element are serially connected, said second constant voltage element becoming low-resistance in response to the application of a voltage that surpasses a prescribed voltage and maintaining a constant voltage between both ends, wherein the first resistor circuit and the second resistor circuit are serially connected between the electric transmission lines, and a connection point of the first resistor circuit and the second resistor circuit is grounded.
