Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing an electric storage device electrode that prevents electrode particles from being broken and a collector from being curved and has an internal resistance reduced by reducing the contact resistance between the collector and an electrode layer. In a method for manufacturing an electric double layer capacitor electrode, a plurality of trenches (1a) are formed on the front and rear surfaces of a collection foil (1) by being extended in one direction. Electrode layers (2) having a plurality of electrode particles (2a) are then provided on the front and rear surfaces of the collection foil (1). After that, the electrode layers (2) are pressed toward the collection foil (1) and are bitten into the trenches (1a) while moving the electrode particles (2a) along the trenches.
