Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of improving the efficiency of work employing a tool. An electric tool (100) is provided with a motor (1), an operating unit (70), a control unit (3), a transmission mechanism (4), and a switching mechanism (9). The motor (1) includes a permanent magnet and a coil. The operating unit (70) accepts an operation from a user. The control unit (3) performs drive control of the motor (1) on the basis of the operation input to the operating unit (70). The transmission mechanism (4) transmits the motive force of the motor (1) to an output shaft (5). The switching mechanism (9) switches an operating mode of the electric tool (100) between a first mode and a second mode. In the electric tool (100), the amount of change in the rotational speed of the output shaft (5) when the output torque of the output shaft (5) changes by a unit amount is smaller in the first mode than in the second mode. The control unit (3) has the function of performing weakening magnetic flux control, in the first mode, to cause a weakening magnetic flux current to flow through the coil in order to cause a magnetic flux for weakening the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet to be generated in the coil.
