Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric toothbrush, in which a replaceable part can sufficiently vibrate, even when a structure is adopted in which power is supplied from a main body to the replaceable part. Provided are: a main body having a power source and a shaft which vibrates by power from the power source and extends in the long-axis direction, and constituting at least a portion of a gripping part; and a replaceable part having an engaging section which detachably engages with the distal end side of the shaft in the long-axis direction, and a head section that includes a brush part. The replaceable part has a functional part that realizes an operation different from vibrating by energization from the power source. The shaft has: a first electroconductive section that enables energization from the power source to the functional portion when the engaging section is engaged; and a second electroconductive section segmented from the first electroconductive section by an electric insulation section.
