Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to improve the stability of an electric vehicle that can float on water. The electric vehicle is provided with front wheels, rear wheels, a vehicle cabin forming portion, a door member, and a metal frame. The frame supports the front wheels, the rear wheels, and the vehicle cabin forming portion. The front wheels are driven by an electric motor. When the front wheels, the electric motor, the rear wheels, and a battery are projected in a direction parallel to the horizontal direction of the electric vehicle, the electric motor is disposed at a position where at least a portion of the electric motor overlaps the front wheels. The battery is disposed at a position where at least a portion of the battery overlaps the rear wheels. The center of gravity of the electric vehicle is lower than the waterline under both light-load conditions and full-load conditions, and the center of gravity in the longitudinal direction of the electric vehicle is located between the front wheels and the rear wheels.
