Abstract:
An electric vehicle comprising: a main body having a stay; and a seat having a rotating shaft supported by the stay. A first member and a second member are fixed to a support section in the stay and the rotating shaft, respectively, and are relatively rotatable relative to each other. A pole has outer teeth detachable from inner teeth of the second member. A cam engages with the pole. An impelling member impels the cam to rotate in one direction and moves the pole in a radial direction in which the outer teeth and the inner teeth mesh. A lock release lever is coupled to the cam so as to integrally rotate with same. The lock release lever moves the pole in a radial direction in which the meshing state between the outer teeth and the inner teeth is released.
